Waitlist privacy notice
This notice covers only the founding waitlist on this page. When the Olmpai app launches, a fuller privacy policy will cover training and health data — that policy does not apply yet, because we are not collecting any of that data here.
1. Who is responsible for your data
[OLMPAI LTD], [company number], [registered office address], United Kingdom ("Olmpai", "we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data described here. Until incorporation completes, the controller is Chris Ward, trading as Olmpai.

2. What we collect
Only what the signup form asks for, plus a small amount of technical context:
- Your email address. Required — it is how we tell you when your wave opens.
- Your main sport and training level. Optional, and used to order the roll-out waves and size each sport's launch cohort.
- A referral code we generate for you, and the code of whoever referred you if you arrived through someone's link.
- How you found us — campaign tags in the link you clicked (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), the referring website, and the page you landed on.
- Server logs. Our hosting and database providers record IP addresses and request metadata transiently for security and abuse prevention. We do not store your IP address alongside your waitlist entry.
We do not collect health or fitness data on this page. Your sport and training level are stated preferences about a product, not measurements about your body, and we treat them as ordinary personal data. Nothing here is special category data under UK GDPR Article 9.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for advertising. We do not profile you or make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Where it is stored, and who can see it
Your waitlist entry is stored in our database in London, United Kingdom. The only people who can read it are Olmpai's founders. We use these processors, each under a data processing agreement:
- Supabase — database hosting (London, eu-west-2).
- Vercel — website hosting and content delivery.
- Resend — sending the confirmation and launch emails.
Some of these providers are US-headquartered and may access data from outside the UK for support purposes. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep it
Until the earliest of: you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it; twelve months after the app launches in your sport; or twenty-four months from signup if we have not launched by then. After that the record is deleted. If you go on to create an Olmpai account, your waitlist entry is deleted and the account privacy policy takes over.
6. Storage on your device
This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking. It uses your browser's local storage for two strictly functional things: remembering a referral code for the length of your visit, and remembering your own waitlist position so we can show it to you instead of asking you to sign up twice. Clearing your browser data removes both, and neither is shared with anyone.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete it — every launch email also has a one-click unsubscribe, which removes you from the list.
- Restrict or object to our use of it, including our legitimate-interests uses.
- Port it to another service in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Email privacy@olmpai.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first — we would rather fix it. You also have the right to complain to the UK regulator: the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF, ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113. If you are in the EU, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
9. Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top, and if the change is material we will email everyone on the list before it takes effect.
